We are a family run business,based in Devizes, Wiltshire and our guiding principle at Zambezi Rock is to help communities in African countries attain self sufficiency, improve and develop their own economies and trade their way out of poverty. We do this simply by purchasing our products direct from source, for example our Adventure and Safari wear is manufactured in Botswana and Zimbabwe, then exported direct to us in the UK, straight from the production lines. We have chosen manufacturing partners in Africa, who have extensive knowledge of adventure and safari clothing. Who better to manufacture these items than the very people who live and work in Africa where the garments are tested and worn every day?

The chosen fabric used in our clothing is hard wearing African cotton twill. It is the genuine material used for adventure wear. This lends a surprisingly soft"to the skin" feel whilst being tough enough to withstand serious adventures. The clothing is cool by day and comfortably warm in the evening, this being a key feature of African cotton.
